My client a leading company based in Sandyford Industrial Estate are currently looking to employ a Temporary Account Assistant to join their team. The position will be for a month initially and my client is looking for someone to start ASAP.

The successful candidate will join a team of dedicated professionals. My client delivers a, proactive and pragmatic style of integrating customer care with the latest efficiencies and embracing technology (including cloud based), to promote a superior service at competitive rates. 

They are looking for someone that works efficiently and effectively and is self-motivated, engages proactively with the minimum of supervision, likes exposure and the responsibility of ALL aspects of accounts, with a can-do work ethic and a proven track record.  

You must be highly organised & self-motivated person for this varied & demanding position. You will be dealing with everything from direct debits and payments on-line, A/P, A/R P/L, Experience utilising the latest CLOUD bookkeeping software would be an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience (essential to this post):- 

  • QuickBooks and XERO CLOUD based Accounts software experience an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines with excellent accuracy & attention to detail
  • One years’ experience dealing with AP, AR, P&L, an advantage
  • Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel/Word a requirement

The role will have the following responsibilities:-

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
  • Answer and resolve auditors queries
  • Direct debit processing including uploading EMT files
  • Attend meetings with clients.
  • Quarterly financial reports for Directors
  • Reviewing lease agreements re service charge appointments.
  • Issuing invoices and statements
  • Bank reconciliation
