The successful applicant will work on a mixed and varied portfolio. After an initial induction period the Trainee Property Manager will be responsible for the day to day management and administration associated with property management.
We would expect the following in a Trainee Property Manager:
A genuine interest in learning about Property Management, the Rental and Letting Market
Ability to deal with day to day general maintenance issues/complaints
Maintaining quality control regarding maintenance of the property
Appointment and assessment of third party contracts
Handling owner and tenant queries and imposing legal processes when necessary
Advising clients of their statutory obligations as directed by the PRTB
Budget control of maintenance works both in-house and with contractors
Conducting property inspections – both check out inspections and 8 week checks
We would expect the following in a Receptionist:
Maintaining reception area and front of office and carry out any Adhoc duties as required
Dealing with all client and customer queries via phone, email and post.
To arrange any viewings at properties and liaising with Property Managers
Setting up appointments for negotiators ensuring effective diary management.
Updating and maintaining all relevant websites with new properties
Daft, Myhome.ie etc.
Updating and maintaining our database with all relevant information.
Setting up files and maintenance of same – maintaining the filing system

Excellent communication skills with a good understanding of English
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Must be sincere, enthusiastic, honest, and have integrity
A creative & innovative approach to the job is a necessity
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook; experience with CRM systems
Full clean driver’s license essential
Not essential but good to have:
Working towards a Property Services Regulatory Authority license
A fundamental understanding of landlord/tenant relationships and property law
A willingness to undertake further education and training is imperative
