Accounts Payable Assistant
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team on a fixed term contract of 6 months. This role will report into the Financial Controller based in Dublin 12. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day delivery of all account payable services and processes in line with service level agreements & financial controls.
What You Will Do
Processing of purchase order and non-purchase order invoices and credit notes.
Validating invoices to ensure that they have been properly approved and dealing with various departments to receive appropriate sign off of invoices.
Dealing with supplier queries.
Filing invoices and credit notes.
Monthly creditor account reconciliations.
Responsible for processing RTS debit notes.
Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the AP Team Leader.
Ensuring timely follow up and sign off of Customer Deduction invoices and ensuring proper coordination with the Finance Manager/Credit Manager to ensure properly adjusted to Trade Spend/LTA.
What You Will Have
Experience within and FMCG, Manufacturing or Distribution environment is an advantage.
Proven track record and at least three years’ experience of carrying out a similar role.
Experience working with an ERP system desirable – IFS experience an advantage.
Experience working with Adest (accounts payable automation system) is desirable.
Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
Possess enthusiastic attitude and strong communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative while strictly adhering to set rules and procedures.
Excellent organisational skills, with proven ability to multitask, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
